スマート・ソサエティ・イノベーション研究室は、「超スマート社会（Society 5.0）」の実現を目指し、先進的なIoTおよびAI技術を活用した次世代システムの研究開発に取り組んでいます。
本研究室では、社会課題の解決や新しい価値の創出を可能にする革新的なアイデアを、実際にインパクトを持つイノベーションとして具現化することを使命としています。そのため、学術的な研究成果を理論にとどめるのではなく、産業界や自治体との連携を通じて、実社会で活用可能なシステム・ソリューションの実装に重点を置いています。
主な研究テーマとしては、
・スマートファクトリー関連の研究開発：AIによる品質管理、IoTプラットフォーム設計・開発等
・防災・減災関連の研究開発：車中泊避難支援システム、スマート防災パーク構想等
・次世代教育と社会実装：PBL型教育、海外研修、国際ワークショップ、AIリテラシー教育等
など、多岐にわたります。
このような活動を通じて、研究室は「知」を社会に開き、学術と産業・地域をつなぐハブとしての役割を果たしています。私たちは、IoT・AIを基盤とする「スマート・ソサエティ」をデザインし、持続可能で安心・安全な社会の実現に貢献していきます。
The Smart Society Innovation Laboratory is dedicated to realizing Society 5.0 through the research and development of next-generation systems powered by advanced IoT and AI technologies.
Our mission is to transform innovative ideas into impactful innovations that address social challenges and create new value. Rather than limiting our achievements to academic theory, we emphasize the practical implementation of system solutions in collaboration with industry partners and local governments.
Key Research Areas:
・Smart Factory: AI-based quality control, IoT platform design and development
・Disaster Prevention and Mitigation: Vehicle-based evacuees support systems, Smart Disaster Park initiatives
・Next-Generation Education and Social Implementation: Project-based learning (PBL), overseas training, international workshops, AI literacy education
Through these activities, the laboratory serves as a hub that connects knowledge with society, bridging academia, industry, and local communities. We are committed to designing an IoT- and AI-driven smart society, contributing to the realization of a sustainable, safe, and secure future.
